Dobson Named Top Female GB4 Racer of 2025

Donington Circuit, UK, October 6, 2025 — American racing talent Ava Dobson has been officially named the Top Female GB4 Driver for the 2025 season, earning the title of highest-classified female in the championship standings. As part of the honor, she has been awarded $50,000 toward securing her seat in the F1 Academy — further propelling her ascent through the ranks of global motorsport.


Dobson’s rise began with a top-10 finish during her GB4 debut at Silverstone in 2024, and accelerated in 2025 during her first full campaign with Arden Motorsport.Her growing reputation earned her one of the most visible opportunities in women’s racing: selected as the official F1 Academy Wild Card Driver at the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. Competing on home soil in front of a global audience, Dobson proved she could compete on the world stage.


Now, with her latest accolade secured, Dobson will step into international territory once again as she prepares to compete in the Saudi F4 Championship, with her sights firmly set on a full-time F1 Academy seat.

Ava Dobson is a 17-year-old open-wheel racing driver from Wisconsin, USA. After debuting in the GB4 Championship at Silverstone in 2024 with a top-10 finish, she completed her first full season with Arden Motorsport in 2025, earning the title of Top Female Driver. That same year, she was selected as the F1 Academy Wild Card Driver at the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, further solidifying her status as one of America’s most exciting young female prospects in international motorsport. She will next compete in the Saudi F4 Championship as she continues her pursuit of a full-time F1 Academy seat.
